35 things to do beside eating out of boredom

Hello everyone :*
This ended up being a late post but I felt the urge to get it out.
You see. I got this bad habit. Whenever I get bored, I end up eating. Not that I’m hungry or have some kind of cravings for it, I don’t even think about it, I just do it.
I am trying to change this bad habit and wanted to share with you (in case some of you got the same problem) these 35 things you can do beside eating out of boredom. Here you go:

  1. Drink a glass of water
  2. Take a walk
  3. Call a friend
  4. Dance
  5. Read a book
  6. Walk your dog
  7. Finish an unfinished project
  8. Take a deep breath
  9. Watch a movie
  10. Play a game
  11. Look at old pictures
  12. Write about something great that happened this week-as many as you like
  13. Clean something
  14. Work in your garden
  15. Go for a bike ride
  16. Take a bath
  17. Chew gum
  18. Run an errand
  19. Fold some clothes
  20. Do some chores
  21. Check your mail-both e-mail and mailbox
  22. Make a positive statement about yourself
  23. Stretch
  24. Hug someone
  25. Exercise
  26. Say whats on your mind
  27. Doodle
  28. Write a to do list
  29. Brush your teeth
  30. Write a diary
  31. Clean out in your closet
  32. Paint your nails
