This ended up being a late post but I felt the urge to get it out.
You see. I got this bad habit. Whenever I get bored, I end up eating. Not that I’m hungry or have some kind of cravings for it, I don’t even think about it, I just do it.
I am trying to change this bad habit and wanted to share with you (in case some of you got the same problem) these 35 things you can do beside eating out of boredom. Here you go:
- Drink a glass of water
- Take a walk
- Call a friend
- Dance
- Read a book
- Walk your dog
- Finish an unfinished project
- Take a deep breath
- Watch a movie
- Play a game
- Look at old pictures
- Write about something great that happened this week-as many as you like
- Clean something
- Work in your garden
- Go for a bike ride
- Take a bath
- Chew gum
- Run an errand
- Fold some clothes
- Do some chores
- Check your mail-both e-mail and mailbox
- Make a positive statement about yourself
- Stretch
- Hug someone
- Exercise
- Say whats on your mind
- Doodle
- Write a to do list
- Brush your teeth
- Write a diary
- Clean out in your closet
- Paint your nails
- Be creative
- Try something new
- Do something that makes you laugh
