This time we’re talking about uses of lemon…

BUT FIRST!

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas (Yes I sang that) so I will put up a post about some easy to do Christmas decorations very, very soon! (which means we will round up the series of “uses of” today. I can’t wait to show you!!

Then again. Back to uses of lemon- here you go:

  1. Whiten nails and remove stains:
Just soak your nails in a mix of lemon juice and olive oil and your nails will be whiter and prettier
  2. Whiter teeth:
Just make a paste out of lemon juice and baking soda and apply the mixture with a tooth brush. Remember to remove the paste within a minute and don’t use them too often- since it can wear away your tooth enamel
  3. Clean wooden tools:
Normally wooden tools as cutting boards or rolling pins are usually hard getting 100% clean and smell free. Try rubbing lemon on them after the usual wash and let it sit for 30 minutes, rinse afterwards and dry. (the lemon easily kills bacteria and bad odors.
  4. Clean metal:
Just rubbing lemon directly on the metal. It will keep them clean and free of bacteria.
  5. Can help against stomach-aches:
Try drinking warm lemon water if you have a stomach ache- it helps with breaking down the food and can keep your system running smoothly.

Have you tried any of these before?

Or do you usually use lemon to something entirely else?

Please tell me in the comments-I’d love to hear!

That’s it for now- next post is uses of vinegar and will be up just in a second- will I see you there too??
