Fifth-and last-post is about vinegar (and I can only say: get a clean, clean home)
- Anti-stick:
If your scissors are getting sticky- try wiping them in a vinegar dipped cloth, and dry them with a dish towel. You can also wipe stickers with vinegar and they’ll come off easy. - Clean bricks (floors or fireplaces):
Just go over the bricks with a damp cloth dipped in vinegar and warm water. - Unclog drains:
Pour ½ cup of baking soda, then 1 cup of vinegar into the drain and flush with hot tap water. Wait 5 minutes and flush then with cold tap water. - Make your silver shine:
Just soak them in a mixture of ½ cup of vinegar and 2 tablespoons baking powder for 2-3 hours. Then rinse them in cold water and dry with a soft cloth - Clean your bathroom (and other porcelain stuff):
Just scrub with a cloth dipped in vinegar and then rinse with cold water and it will look all sparkly - Get rid of rust:
Put your rusty stuff (like work tools or bolts) in a bowl with vinegar and let them soak for a couple of days. Take up and dry.
Have you ever tried any of these before?
And what do you usually use vinegar for?
I’d love to hear- so please tell me in the comments
Next week will be THE POST. AKA. The post about Christmas decorations.
Looking forward to seeing you there. But until then: have a nice day 🙂
