Oh my oh my I have been looking forward to this soooo much!
I heard so many great things about this lip oil, and have wanting to try it ever since it got the Danish Beauty Award in 2019.
I finally got to it, and I have a lot to say.
First off, this lip oil is a collaboration with SOS Børnebyerne, which works to give all children an opportunity to grow up with a family filled with love and security. The name comes from Julia Sofias best friend Freddie, Frederik and they have a foster child together in one of these cities. She is a lifestyle youtuber I would say.

Let’s get into it.

Their words:
A transparent, nourishing oil, filled with jojoba. The ultimate moisture bomb for your lips. Use the oil over clean, bare lips for care, hydration and lots of shine. It can be used wherever, whenever when you need some feel-good for your lips.
My thoughts: This product won a Danish beauty award so I was super excited to try it out!
Applying: Super easy to apply since it goes on in one swipe.
Feel: Super nice, oily but non sticky feel. I enjoy wearing it, since my lips look beautiful and shiny, while feeling hydrated and smelling great. The more I use it, the less of a hydrating feel I get, but it still feels nice. I think you can get the same moisturizing effect from a good lip balm.
Packaging: I really like the packaging. The outer packaging is cute, simple and calming. The product itself is cute too, it is very simple and I like the blue colour.
Scent: It reminds me of when I was younger and you could get these gums with a polar bear on it. Jenka it is called by Bubblicious, smells exactly like that.

Labels: None to be found.
Ingredients: ↑Simmondsia Chinensis seed oil: Jojoba oil. Enhances the skin’s restorative properties. Soothing and great for dry skin.
↓ Limonene: Fragrance from citrus oils, pine trees or spices of mint. Can be sensitizing when exposed to air but otherwise a strong antioxidant and can calm skin.
↓ Eugenol: Fragrance chemical that occurs naturally in cloves, basil and bay leaves among other plants. Knows to cause sensitivity.
A bit sad about the negative products here, but I am not too concerned, since it is made to go onto the lips and not directly on the “skin”.
Claims: Gives lots of shine and moisturizes too. Can be used whenever wherever.
Price: 125 DKK – 17 EURO – 20 USD
Will I use it again: I will use it up, but I think I might not buy a new one. I feel like I might get the same effect from a lip balm (not the shine though).

Have you ever tried this lip oil before and do you think it deserved the award it got?
I hope you all have a happy life, one day at a time!
