The topic is skincare, and I will explain, exactly what these are and what to use them for!

Skincare can be a jungle to find your way around in.
In this series we are looking closely at the different types of skincare.

If you want to you can also watch this on my YouTube Channel 🙂

Today we will focus on Eye Creams.

WHAT IS AN EYE CREAM & WHAT DOES IT DO?

An eye cream functions as a moisturizer for the eye area.

It has been especially formulated for the delicate skin around the eyes, and therefore might have added benefits for the undereye area – this could be to fight against dark circles or puffiness.

WHAT TYPES EXISTS?

There does not exactly exist different types of eye cream, but they usually have some type of special effect or treatment. These could be:

  • Moisturizing
  • Erasing dark circles
  • Anti-aging
  • There are one out there for every skin type
  • Help against puffiness
  • Brighten the undereye area
  • Colour correcting

DO I NEED IT & WHEN SHOULD I USE IT?

When talking about eye cream one does have to consider, that a really good face cream, might do just as many wonders as a “designed” eye cream.

Though you do not need an eye cream, you should at least use a face cream. And using a face cream, might just be enough.
It is not necessary with an eye cream if you do not have any special concerns with your undereye area, and if you already take good care of your skin.

Remember; though eye cream is not necessary, it can be a luxurious step in your skincare routine, if you want just a little bit extra.

If you choose to use an eye cream, you should apply it morning at night together with your other moisturizers.

If there is some type of skincare you would like explained, tell me in the comments and we will get to it.

I hope you all have a happy life, one day at a time!
