WHAT IS A DD CREAM & WHAT DOES IT DO?
The DD in DD Cream stands for either “Daily Defence” or “Daily-Do-All”.
A DD cream is a mix of a BB cream and a CC cream, where it gets the moisturizing part from the BB cream and the colour correcting part from the CC cream.
Because these DD, creams wormed themselves into a market that honestly did not need them, they are rarely seen in the beauty industry.
WHAT TYPES EXISTS?
Just like with BB and CC creams, there are not really types, but mostly benefits you can get while buying a DD cream. These could be:
DO I NEED IT & WHEN SHOULD I USE IT?
DD creams are not seen often, since they are pretty much a re-run of the BB and CC creams without any extra benefits.
To be honest, if you think you need a DD cream, you might want to stop op and breathe; then buy either a BB or CC cream instead.
A DD cream should be used as the first step in a skincare routine or as a moisturizing step, but again; anything DD can do BB or CC can do better.
