As someone who does not like having a sticky face, powders are a stable in my makeup arsenal. Therefore I am always on the hunt for a newer, better and more longwearing powder.

This one was in my stash for waay to long until I got to it, but it is finally time!

If you want to watch the review, go watch it on my YouTube Channel! 😊

Their words:

Lightweight powder formulated with natural minerals for up to 9 hours matte finish. Helps to minimize the appearance of pores and hide imperfection for flawless skin.

Dermatologically tested.

My thoughts: I am always down to trying out new powders. I got one already that is a 2-in-1 powder and makeup. This one is transparent though, so I am not going to get the same effect as my usual one, but I at least hope to stay matte for 9 hours.

As I ventured into finding the ingredients for this product I realized the website said it would stay matte for up to 5 hours, but the product itself says 9… so what is it?

Applying: Fairly easy to apply, I just used a brush and gently brushed over my whole face with the powder. Even though it is not loose, you don’t need to rub much to get the product off the pan and onto the brush. Can also be dibbed into with a sponge.

Feel: It felt lightweight on my skin. Mattified instantly and also filled in my pores so they looked smaller. I did notice though when I got a closer look on my face, that the powder kind of separated in a weird way (but only on my nose)

Packaging: Standard, boring, not that exciting plastic packaging.

Scent: Smells like powder.

Labels: No labels to see here.

Ingredients:
↑ Tocopheryl Acetate: A form of vitamin E. Antioxidant.

↑ Zinc Oxide: Lubricating, thickening, antioxidant and skin soothing. Sunscreen active ingredients, protects against UVA and UVB. Can be used in makeup to give opacity to products.

↓ Fragrance: Can be sensitizing. Can also be called Parfum. When using the term fragrance, it is unknown if there is one fragrance or 20.
↓ Butylphenyl Methylpropional: Fragrance with a floral scent. Can be sensitizing.
↓ Benzyl Salicylate: Fragrance that has a sweet, floral scent. Can cause negative reactions even in small amounts.
↓ Citronellol: Fragrance from geranium, rose and other plants. Has a grassy or citrus like scent. Can aggravate the skin when exposed to air.
↓ Hexyl Cinnamal: Jasmine-like fragrance. Can be sensitizing.
↓ Linalool: Fragrant component made of lavender and coriander. Can be sensitizing.
↓ Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde: Fragrance. Light, sweet and floral scent.

Dang why is there so much fragrance in here??? It is a powder not a perfume…

Claims: It was transparent, mattified instantly and filled in my pores so they looked smaller. Had it on for 9 hours with no problems.

Price: 60 DKK – 8 EURO – 9,5 USD

Will I use it again: I am feeling a bit weird about keep on using this after finding out that there is so much fragrance in here.

So even though this wasn’t a complete fail, I would not call it a complete win either. The hunt for the best powder continues!
