The topic is Beauty, and I will explain all about Supplements, Procedures, and products.

Beauty can be a jungle to find your way around in, so in this series we are looking closely at Beauty and trying to find out what it is.

We will be looking at what it is & what it does.

What types exist.

If you need it & when should you use it.

Today we will focus on Eyelash Extensions.

You can also find this post on my YouTube Channel 😊

WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS & WHAT DOES IT DO?

Eyelash extensions are a procedure made to enhance your eyelashes for an extended period of time. Where mascara would lash hours, these can work for up to six to eight weeks. In short, they are semi-permanent lashes they are glued on top of your natural lashes.

WHAT TYPES EXISTS?

You can get a few different types of lashes. The most common used are these:

  • Mink – These are the most expensive types of lashes. These are the lightest lashes you can choose.
  • Faux mink/ synthetic – Cheaper than mink lashes. They are light and gentle on the natural lashes.
  • Silk – Fairly thick lashes which means that they can also be a bit heavy. Cheaper than mink lashes.

DO I NEED IT & WHEN SHOULD I USE IT?

You definitely do no need lash extensions, but if you are not fond of putting mascara on every single day, and coloring your lashes is not to your fancy, you can choose this option.

As said before these last for about 6-8 weeks when treated properly so that is how often they should be refilled. You have to be aware if choosing eyelash extensions that they are much more expensive than getting your lashes colored or buying a mascara. They can cost from 500-1000 DKK (67-134 EURO – 79-158 USD) the first time but it is cheaper when you only need a refill. Eyelash extensions also need higher maintenance – you need to make sure they are clean, and you do not rub them or else they might get damaged.

If there is something you would like explained, tell me in the comments and we will get to it.

I hope you all have a happy life, one day at a time!
