I really hope you are not sick of me talking about drinks by now because this is not the first nor the last.
This drink is uhm. Kind of quirky. It is a Spanish drink that it consists of mainly two ingredients: red wine and cola.
Yup. You did read that right. Red wine and cola is not really my standard mix of drinks, but the weirdest things are mixed when speaking about drinks, and we will try it nonetheless.
And for all of us who do not know how to pronounce Kalimotxo, it goes something like: Calimotcho.
Enough chit chat; lets go get the booze.
Oh and of course I need to tell you to go watch it on my YouTube channel too π
Time:
5 min
Ingredients (2 drinks):
- 2 DL (Spanish) red while
- 2 DL cola
- 6 Ice cubes
- Lemon slices for decoration
Instructions:
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Pour in the red wine and cola.
- Decorate with lemon slices.

Quite easy, and the most important part is to use equal parts of red wine and cola. I read the βbestβ type of wine to use is both Spanish and dry red wine. To be honest a cheap red wine might also do it, but I went for a Spanish, dry, AND cheap wine π
I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered this drink. I love soda and was really surprised with how good it tasted. I will definitely make it again, and I am happy I bought two bottles of wine β that means I can make another one again soon.
If you tried this before I would love to know, so leave me a comment down below and lets chat!
I hope you all have a happy life, one day at a time π
