Another inspired makeup day, another rolled dice.
Today’s makeup look comes from Cruella De Vil – The villain from 101 Dalmatians (An animated Disney movie from 1961 about a litter of Dalmatian puppies that get kidnapped by Cruella De Vil who wants to make their fur into coats)
This villain is one of the more “evil” ones from Disney movies, as the idea of killing puppies for their fur, is quite an unpopular thing to want. The movies themselves are iconic, and Cruella De Vil and her wild look is unforgettable.
Nonetheless I made a look inspired by this crazy woman, and this is what I came up with:
As always you may also watch this on my YouTube channel, if you would rather watch than read 😊
The face
First off, I had just showered so I did not need primer since I had already moisturized.
Thus, I went straight into putting on my concealer and blending it in with my beauty sponge.
The concealer I used was the Tarte Shape Tape, as I recently tried it out and (at the point of writing this) is still trying it out. The beauty sponge I got no idea where I got from, so that is truly a no-name right now.
I then used my Manhattan Clearface 2in1 Powder & Makeup as foundation, to make sure my skin was covered up as well as I could. I just used the sponge that was already in there to pat it on my skin. Because Cruella’s face is pretty low-key and bare, I chose not to use any additional face makeup like highlighter, blush or bronzer.

The eyes
For my eyes I went for the Nilens Jord Eye Primer, and primed my eyes so they were ready for my Makeup Revolution X Roxxsaurus Ride or Die Eyeshadow Palette. I used my E.L.F. Professional Eyeshadow Brush and went into the colour Ariel to pat down some red in the middle of my eyelid, and then took the same brush and used the colour Draco all around the red colour. I stretched the dark green quite far, and also used my H&M eyeshadow brush to smudge some green underneath the corners of my eye, and blend the look. After blending I put on a bit extra of both colours just to make sure the colours popped. I then put my finger into the colour Cranberry and added some shine to the red part of my lid.
The Red and green (though the green is not as light green that I would have loved), were taken from Cruella’s gloves and lips (red), and her eyes and earrings (green). Now we just need black and white.
I went for my Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Mascara in black and put a good layer on both eyes, and then took my Chanel Paris Kohl/Eyeliner in black and put this on my tightline.

The lips
My lips were those I had the hardest time with. I knew I wanted that half white, half black look for my lips, but as I have no lipstick in either of those colours, I instead did the next-best, and used eyeliner.
For one half of my lips, I used the W7 King Kohl in black and the other half got the GOSH eyeliner in white. Because the white one is quite creamy (and white), it did not fill in as well as the black one did, so the look became a bit wonky – but nonetheless it looked O.K.

This was all for the look, and I had so much fun coming up with it! Beside the fact that I wished the green was a more neon/lighter colour, and the white on the lips were not quite white enough, I had fun, and that to me is the most important!
So what did you think about this look, and what would you like me to be inspired by next time?? Leave me a comment down below, I would love to hear what you think!
I hope you all have a happy life, one day at a time
